This six week beginner class is designed to get you and your puppy off to a great start with Basic Obedience, Socialization, Training, and Learning how to be a Responsible Dog Owner. We will also help you with undesirable behavior such as: jumping, nipping, barking, biting, potty training, crate training, and resource guarding. This strong foundational class will translate to becoming a confident puppy parent with a much calmer, more obedient dog for the future.

Our Puppy Program is a non-competitive activity class open to all dogs 8 weeks – 6 months of age, including purebreds and mixed breeds. The weekly class environment will be relaxed & enjoyable for you and your furry friend! Puppies that attend classes are well-socialized and learn skills that are the foundation for all other tasks as they grow. So, what exactly will your pup learn in these classes?

Puppy Class Curriculum:

• Walking on a Loose Lead
• Auto-Sit
• Sit Stay
• Down
• Down Stay
• Recall (The Come!)
• Leave It
• Socialization/Distraction Resistant Exercises

The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Test is an optional certificate test given only at the conclusion of a training course that is at least 6 weeks long. This certification can be completed at no extra charge on the final day of puppy class graduation!
