This package includes a 45 minute private lesson, and 15 Beginner-Advanced Classes with online flexible class scheduling. Offering 8 classes a week, clients sign up for the class day/time they would like to attend each week. Once you have mastered the beginner class curriculum your remaining class credits will be automatically moved up to advanced classes. Owner/handlers will learn how to train their dogs off leash to a word command, and achieve focused retention with their handler.

*Trainers will assist with individual problems such as: pulling, jumping, barking, biting, chewing, digging, house training, crate training, and other unwanted behaviors. We also provide help managing severe issues such as resource guarding, separation anxiety, and reactivity.

The “Flexible Schedule” Beginner-Advanced classes is a customized, balanced dog training program tailored to the needs of our clients for an active lifestyle with your dog. We are very invested in your success, and we work tirelessly with our clients to overcome training difficulties, and meet training goals. Our program will teach you the tools/techniques necessary to have a responsive, well rounded pet, on or off leash. Our goal is to instill confidence in the fact your dog will behave with predictable reliability, on the first command. Our Trainers will teach you how to read your dogs behavioral cues, and body language creating focused communication skill sets. We know every dog is different, and we will expertly guide your team to the success you seek.

⭐️This Package is the Service/Therapy Dog Training Track. This package prepares, and evaluates your team for the Canine Good Citizen Series of tests: CGC (Canine Good Citizen), CGCA (Canine Good Citizen Advanced), and CGCU (Urban Canine Good Citizen). Upon Successful completion your team will move into Service/Therapy dog training.⭐️

Beginner Obedience Curriculum

 

  • Heeling on a loose lead, Auto-Sit, Sit-Stay, Down, Down-Stay, the “Leave It” command, & AKC Canine Good Citizen Exercises.
  • Working through Distractions including, but not limited to: Balls, Food, Toys, Children, Cats, and other Dogs.
  • Group Work, Socialization Exercises (Dog to Dog/People to Dog), and Distraction Resistance Exercises.

 

Advanced Obedience Curriculum

 

  • Beginner Obedience Curriculum Above: Heeling on a loose lead, Auto-Sit, Sit-Stay, Down, Down-Stay, the “Leave It” command, & AKC Canine Good Citizen Exercises.
  • Full Off leash Curriculum, Recall (Come Command), Finish to Heel Position(Left and Right), Distance Training, Stand Stay, Long Sits/Down Stays, Place/Wait Command, Walking Down & Walking Stand, Door Work, Impulse Control Work, Focus Techniques, Retention Training, & Verbal Marker Training.
  • Hand Signals, Jumps, Drop on Recall (Come). AKC Canine Good Citizen Advanced Exercises. Meet & Greets with Dog/Humans, Break Training- Working a dog through position/place breaking, Patience & Tolerance Exercises, Close Proximity Distractions, & Therapy Dog Exercises: Crutches, Walkers, & Medical Equipment, and Extreme Food Retention Exercises.

Advanced Class Schedule:

Advanced Classes train an off leash curriculum, distance training, and reliability/retention through mass distractions. Equipping handler/dog teams to meet new goals, we offer the Canine Good Citizen Testing series at No Additional Charge to our clients 5 times a year, this includes: Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title, CGC Community Canine (CGCA) title, Urban Canine Good Citizen (CGCU), AKC Trick Dog titles. When you are ready to test for the AKC Canine Good Citizen Series we will set up the evaluation for your team.

We encourage all important adults in the dogs life to attend as many training classes as possible. You are welcome to switch off in classes to make the most of your training day. Clients have 15 classes/credits to use at their discretion. This package includes a private lesson given 45 minutes before your first attended beginners class. Can I check it out first?

We want owners to be confident in their choice that All Breed Dog Obedience is just the right fit for you and your furry friend, so we offer a one-time trial class. This trial includes a 40-minute private lesson, and a beginners class for $100.

What equipment do I need?

  • DO NOT PURCHASE A TRAINING COLLAR UNTIL YOU HAVE CONSULTED YOUR TRAINER. Bring the Leash and Collar you currently own, if a change in equipment is needed we have equipment available for purchase before/after class. We do NOT fit outside equipment.
  • Collar: Training collars used in our classes range from flat, nylon collars to smooth chain collars or prong collars. It is the decision of the client, which collar they would prefer to use for training. We will not fit outside equipment, and we do not allow head halters or flexi-leashes in our classes.
  • Leash: A 6-foot leash is required and should be weight appropriate for the size of the dog & flexible for the handler to use with ease. We recommend training leashes we have for purchase at class; this includes bridle leather, softened leather or BioThane. Training equipment such as collars and leashes are available for purchase at classes.
  • Vaccinations: It is required to provide proof of all necessary vaccinations for the age of the dog at registration. We also require current Rabies & Bordetella at all times.
  • Poo Bags: It is the responsibility of the pet owner to immediately clean up after their dog at any time. Please have poo bags on hand. We have additional cleaning products as necessary.
  • No Treats: Please keep food/treats in the car as an after-class reward. We do not use food in this class unless specific to training focus techniques or in advanced classes.

Dogs will learn heeling on a loose lead, auto-sit, sit stay, down, down stay, the “Leave It” Command, and the Recall (Come). Class will include distraction resistant exercises and socialization. We will also help you with undesirable behaviors such as: pulling, jumping, nipping, barking, mouthing, biting, & potty/crate training. Classes are open to ALL breeds of dog (8 weeks of age or older) and last 45 minutes. Meeting every Tuesday at 6:00 pm for six consecutive weeks. Make up classes are possible.This Class is NOT for Reactive Dogs, please book the Beginner-Advanced Package above.
