You choose what day/time of classes each week to attend. After successful completion of our beginners foundational obedience class, or your dog/handler team is evaluated, you move into Advanced Group classes. These classes teach handler/dog teams to successfully work all exercises off leash. The goal is to achieve a completely reliable off leash response, so your dog will be obedient, on a word command. This class also equips and encourages teams to look towards new goals, such as testing for the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title, CGC Community Canine (CGCA) title, AKC Trick Dog title, or additional conditioning for Service, Therapy, or Rally/Obedience competition work!

* The best thing a handler can do is prepare their own dog for distractions that come into their own space. While we cannot control how other owner/handlers and distractions may come upon us, we train in such a way that the owner/dog teams have the confidence to take new challenges in stride. These distractions may include, but are not limited to: balls, toys, food, loud noises, other dogs, and cats.
Advanced Class Schedule:

We offer the Canine Good Citizen Testing series, on-site, at No additional charge to our clients. There are at least 2 trainers available at every class to assist you with questions or problems, plus assistance 7 days a week by phone, text, or messenger.
But I already have obedience basics trained, can I join Advanced Group?
It is important for our trainers to evaluate your owner/dog team for basic obedience and temperament, prior to placement in advanced classes. If your dog has mastered the obedience fundamentals, you will be immediately moved into the Advanced Classes. Trainer evaluation will take place your first day of class if you are looking for direct placement in Advanced Classes. Please click here to request an evaluation.
What equipment do I need?
- Collar: Training collars used in our classes range from flat, nylon collars to smooth chain collars or prong collars. It is the decision of the client, which collar they would prefer to use for training. Collars may be purchased at class, we will not fit outside equipment not purchased with us. We do not allow head halters or flexi-leashes in our classes.
- Leash: A 6-foot leash is required and should be a weight appropriate for the size of the dog & flexible for the handler to use with ease. Additionally, we strongly encourage owners to invest in a ‘tab’ or ‘handle’ for off-leash work. We recommend bridle leather, softened leather or biothane leashes for best result & wear over time. Training equipment such as leashes, tabs, and collars are available for purchase before & after classes.
- Vaccinations: It is required to provide proof of all necessary vaccinations for the age of the dog at registration. We also require current Rabies & Bordetella at all times.
- Poo Bags: It is the responsibility of the pet owner to immediately clean up after their dog at any time. Please have poo bags on hand. We have additional cleaning products as necessary.
- Treats: Clients are welcome to bring treats to be used in focus and target training.
