Laura Amick

An avid equestrian in her youth, Laura competed in the dressage and hunter/jumper disciplines through college. Her knowledge of equine body language & solid training techniques helped in starting young horses from the racetrack under saddle for pleasure riding. After an automobile accident left her horse training passions by the wayside, she was introduced to the Great Dane; a horse among dogs! Laura has adored, owned, and trained Great Danes since 2000. Seeking out reputable breeders, poring over articles and research about the breed, helping in rescue and fostering, Laura came to All Breed Dog Obedience in 2019 to enhance her training skills, learn and train with a wider variety of dog breeds/temperaments and hone in on her burgeoning heart for service animals. As a trainer with All Breed Dog Obedience, you will find her leading puppy class, assisting with advanced competition classes and coaching clients through all of the training, socialization and education needed for a successful service animal.
